Self-Learning Smart Parking Garage Lighting Solution
Eardatek’s Self-Learning Smart Parking Garage Lighting Solution integrates four core technologies — 5.8 GHz radar motion sensing, 2.4 GHz wireless mesh networking, AI path self-learning algorithms, and SaaS-based cloud management — to deliver intelligent, demand-driven lighting with “full brightness when occupied, dimmed when vacant” operation. The system is plug-and-play with zero manual commissioning, achieving up to 90% energy savings and providing a comprehensive smart lighting solution for low-carbon parking garages.
Intelligent Sensor-Based Lighting
Utilizing 5.8 GHz radar motion sensing to replace conventional PIR infrared solutions, the system delivers intelligent “full brightness when occupied, dimmed or off when vacant” control. Radar sensing is unaffected by ambient temperature or dust, offers strong signal penetration, and accurately detects both vehicle and pedestrian movement. This ensures reliable automatic lighting in parking garage environments, fundamentally eliminating the problem of 24/7 always-on lighting and energy waste.
AI Path Self-Learning & Zone Linkage
The built-in AI path self-learning algorithm (based on neural network backpropagation) automatically learns vehicle and pedestrian traffic patterns to enable zone-linkage lighting — when a vehicle enters a zone, luminaires ahead are pre-activated, creating a “follow-through” lighting effect; after the vehicle passes, the corresponding zone luminaires dim or enter low-power standby after a delay. The algorithm adapts quickly to the environment, achieving over 95% consistency with traditional manual commissioning, truly delivering “install and go — no manual tuning required.”
Wireless Mesh Networking
Using the 2.4 GHz communication protocol, the system supports automatic luminaire mesh networking with a single network accommodating over 3,000 luminaires — fully meeting the requirements of large-scale parking garages. Wireless networking eliminates complex wiring, significantly shortens installation cycles, and reduces construction costs.
Cloud Monitoring & Energy Management
The SaaS-based smart management platform provides large-screen visualization dashboards with features including zone-level energy statistics, energy consumption heatmaps, and one-click lighting strategy switching. Standardized protocol interfaces enable integration with building management systems (BMS). The platform also supports third-party cloud integration as well as on-premises or private cloud deployment to meet the security and compliance requirements of different property owners.
Outstanding Energy Savings
Achieving up to 90% energy savings compared to traditional T8 fluorescent always-on mode, the system delivers substantial annual electricity reduction and significantly lowers property management utility costs.
Advanced Intelligence
The system is truly “install and go” — the AI path self-learning algorithm handles commissioning automatically with no per-luminaire manual tuning, achieving over 95% consistency with traditional manual commissioning. One-click and scheduled strategy switching flexibly adapts to different traffic scenarios such as weekdays vs. holidays and peak vs. off-peak periods, dramatically improving management efficiency.
Reduced Maintenance Costs
Long-term low-power operation results in slower lumen depreciation and multiplied luminaire lifespan, significantly cutting maintenance and replacement costs. AI-driven automated operations reduce the need for manual inspections and commissioning, lowering labor and O&M expenses.
Flexible Deployment Options
Supporting both SaaS cloud deployment and on-premises / private cloud deployment, the system integrates seamlessly with existing infrastructure. Standardized protocol interfaces connect lighting data to building management systems (BMS), breaking down data silos and enabling system-level collaborative management for smart buildings.
