FAQs

Why is the module not responding sensitively or giving false alarms?

Please check if the requirements of A5 and A6 have been met during the application process.
For more detailed questions and answers, please contact our technical staff.

Will the modules affect each other? Can they be tested adjacent to each other?

Modules will affect each other. If multiple devices need to be tested at the same time, a distance of more than 1m should be kept apart, and the sensing surfaces of the modules should be staggered.

Are there any special requirements for module installation?

1. Near the installation position of the module, avoid placing large capacitors, inductors, transformers, rectifier bridges and other components that perform voltage and current conversion. Otherwise, the generated electromagnetic radiation may affect the detection stability of the module.
2. The installation height of the module should not be lower than the height of the surrounding components. If the structure is restricted, adjust according to the actual test results.
3. The module should be installed horizontally to ensure the uniformity of the detection range.
4. The product to which the module is applied should preferably be made of non-metallic materials. If the product has metal components, adjust the application parameters of the module based on the actual test results.

Are there any special requirements for the electrical parameters of the power supply?

1 Power supply design should follow the EMC design requirements, control the ripple size less than 150mv, as far as possible to reduce the power frequency signal (50Hz) energy amplitude (try to control below -30dBm), the input voltage to the module should strictly follow the module specification requirements.

Why does the module not output when the device is within the reference detection range?

This series of modules are for detecting mobile signals. If the movement of the target within the detection range is very small (such as standing still/ sitting still/shaking head/using a mobile phone, etc.), it may not meet the conditions to wake up the module.

Can it be dimmed?

The module can output PWM signals for dimming.

Does it have a light-sensitive function?

All models can be equipped with the light-sensitive function, and the parameters can be adjusted.

Why does the module keep lighting up or going off frequently?

1. Check if the output circuit of the module's O port is properly connected to a forced pull-up or pull-down;
2. Check if there is any short circuit on the three pins of the module;
3. Check if the power supply's load capacity can cover the current specified by the module.
